Agung Rai Museum of Art (ARMA) was completed in 27 December 1989 and was officially opened on 9 June 1996 by Prof. Dr-Ing Wardiman Djojonegoro the Minister of Education & Culture of The Republic Indonesia and ARMA is the realized dream of its founder Agung Rai.

It is founded on principles that reflect his philosophy, which is one that includes an intense love for art and, even more so, for the preservation of art for the purpose of sharing it with the community.

ARMA resort Ubud officially established in 1982 with 15 rooms under the name “Puri Indah” which mean Beautiful Palace. In 1995 Puri Indah changes into “Kokokan Hotel”. In 2002 change into “ARMA Resort” with additional 8 luxury villas. The total accommodation becomes 23 units.

The ARMA resort Ubud was built as the fund rising for the museum. Therefore your contribution and supports highly appreciated for the art and culture preservation programmer under ARMA Foundation.

ARMA Villa offers fully self-contained luxurious one and two bedroom private

and elegantly decorated and furnished in Balinese classic style of villas. Each villa uniquely designed with spacious living areas providing private pool, large bath room area and separate indoor and outdoor shower facility.

All villa artistically & thoughtfully designed with antique wooden beds on each patio provide a romantic perch from which to enjoy the view. Traditional Balinese architecture melds thatched roofs, woven bamboo and sculpted sandstone into a unique and meditative ambience surrounded by lush tropical garden and rice terrace offering comport and peaceful for family living.

All rooms are equipped with Air Conditioned, Stocked mini-bar, IDD Telephone Service, Hair Dryer, Shower and Bathtub, Toiletries in bathroom, Comprehensive Information Package and private terrace.
